Junior Pastoral Council

This is the first Junior Pastoral Council (JPC) group. The JPC first met on Holy Thursday, 28th March 2013. This photo was taken at the last meeting/social of that particular group in June 2013. To get the names of this group or any of the following groups, go to, 'Junior Pastoral Council', under, 'Parish Info'.
The second JPC group, which included most members from the first group, acted from September 2013 to June 2014. This is some of the members practising in the church in February 2014 for the Youth Mass.
These photos were taken in Lourdes in June 2015. Members of the JPC of the first three years went on a pilgrimage that was separate from the Limerick Diocesan Pilgrimage, but took place at the same time. The leaders of the group were Ann Grealish, Ger Buckley and Fr. Seán, along with assistant leaders, Michael Grealish and Conor Barry, both former members of the JPC but now in college.
In November 2015 the  fourth JPC took a special part in the Saturday Vigil Mass. This was also attended by the Under-14 parish dual-county winners in hurling and football.
This is now the fourth year of the JPC. Here we see some of its members working voluntarily in the Spiritual Garden of Remembrance (An Gáirdín Cuimhneacháin) in February 2016.
This was a celebratory meal in the Parochial House in September 2016 for the JPC members who were heading off to college -they were all over 18!
This is a meeting of the fifth year of the Junior Pastoral Council in the Parochial House in October 2016
In February 2017 Bishop Leahy visited the parish for Confirmation. Afterwards he met members of the fifth year of the JPC.
In April of 2017 some members of the group did voluntary work in the Spiritual Garden of Remembrance
